English Patch | Summon Night Swordcraft Story 3
The first two games in the Swordcraft Story series were successfully localized and published by Atlus in North America. However, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 3 was never released outside of Japan. The primary reason was timing. The game was released late in the GBA's commercial lifecycle (2005), when the industry was shifting focus to the Nintendo DS. As noted on TV Tropes, "The third Swordcraft Story title did not get a North American port due to the Japanese original being released, in typical Flight-Plan fashion, late in the Game Boy Advance's life." Atlus's decision not to port it was "well justified" due to concerns about low sales. This "No Export for You" scenario left English-speaking fans with no official way to experience the conclusion of the trilogy.
